Hi, I'm Emma!
I am 26 years old, and I grew up in a small town in Southern Ontario called Meaford.
I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember, and growing up you could find me with my cousins' camera every summer at camp. I got my first DSLR when I was 17 from another cousin who is also a photographer.
A fun fact about me is that I am such an introvert and HATE being in front of the camera. These photos were taken the other day while we were shooting promo photos for Winter Minis!
My boyfriend and I have 2 dogs, a Golden Doodle called Peaches and a Pomeranian Mix called Frankie. I swore I would never own a small breed dog but this little girl stole my heart.
Growing up, my dad had an excavating company called TRC Excavating, and when I was starting my business and trying to come up with a name, I thought an homage to him would be fun! Thus, The River Co. Photography was born!
I am currently based in Hamilton, ON, but travel quite a bit for sessions!
